Finn-Sino Association will organize Chinese Movie Weeks in Tampere, Turku, Jyväskylä and Oulu from October 9 through 25, 2009 in collaboration with the film centers of Central Finland, Pirkanmaa, Oulu, and Finland Proper, and the China State Administration of Radio Film and Television (SARFT). This is the fifth time that a selection of modern Chinese films will be screened in theaters across Finland.
This year, movies reflect struggles in different forms. The movies presentes this year are Gun of Mercy, Crazy Stone, Road to Dawn, A World without Thieves, Keke Xili.
Screening venues and dates: Tampere, Niagara, Oct. 9.-14.; Turku, Oct. 20.-21.; Jyväskylä, Minnansali Oct. 15.-17.
; Oulu, Studio, Oct. 20.-24. The movies have English subtitles and an age limit of 18. Tickets cost 4 euros.
