One of Asia's most adored super stars, Vicki Zhao, brings relief to romance-hungry moviegoers. The story of Green Tea is built around Zhao's character Fang, a young woman who turns to blind dating in a bid to find true love. Fang and her friend Lang believe that a cup of tea can be used to predict a person's romantic luck. A cup of green tea in hand Fang goes on numerous blind dates, but always ends up rejecting the candidates on offer. Finally, she encounters Chen, who is willing to continue to see her despite a less than perfect beginning. Chen also gets attracted to Fang's more outgoing lookalike, Lang, and is convinced they are the one and the same person. The ending leaves some questions unanswered in this movie, where the storyline takes backseat to Vicki Zhao's refreshing role performance and the film's beautiful and artistic scenery.
