Helena Hallenberg PhD. has studied Chinese Traditional Medicine since 1990 and conducted academic research in northern China on the combat techniques and medicine practiced by the Islamic Hui people. She has published several books, including a Chinese guide to healthy living entitled "Elinvoimaa kiinalaisittain. Opas terveyden ylläpitoon", 2002, Tammi.
In the last few years, she has taught qigong health exercise classes and given lectures on traditional Chinese self-healing techniques all around Finland.
