Timo Klemola Ph.D. in the director of the Department of Sports Philosophy at the University of Tampere and a long-time practitioner of budo. He has studied several styles of martial arts, icluding karate, taiji and yiquan and written several publications on the topic. As a researcher and philospoher, Timo Klemola is particularly interested in the philosophy of sports and human physicality.
